SILAB invests in the future with its new internal training center

After two years of construction work, SILAB is today receiving the keys to its new building on its single site in Brive (France), which includes a center for internal training, one of the pillars of the company's strategy.

This contemporary architectural structure with a surface of 4,500 sqm is on four levels and with an amphitheater that can accommodate 200 people. It concludes a three-year investment program of 30 million euros, initiated by industrial projects. This unique facility, which is dedicated to continuing education, demonstrates the company's strong commitment to developing talent in a scientific and technological environment driven by innovation.

SILAB certainly has an ambitious training policy. The company devotes significant human and material resources to the development of its teams' skills: 7% of the gross payroll is invested in training each year. This represents 10,000 hours of annual training, divided into more than 120 multidisciplinary modules, made possible thanks to the commitment of around 50 internal trainers.

The in-house training center reinforces this dynamic, providing employees with equipped meeting rooms, specialized laboratories and high-performance educational tools to meet the challenges of SILAB's sustainable growth in the years to come. Jean Paufique, Chairman and Founder of SILAB, explains: The strength of our development comes from innovation, which in turn is driven by our expert teams. This is why we surround ourselves with the best employees and strive to offer them motivating working conditions, promote their professional well-being and provide them with quality continuous training. We have a responsibility to train our employees to keep pace with the rapid evolution of our professions. This investment in skills is necessary to our continued development

The new building, designed by local architects, meets SILAB's commitment to Corporate social responsibility (CSR). It offers employees optimized lighting, acoustics and ergonomic conditions, as well as access to advanced digital technologies. It also brings together the most advanced environmental criteria, including rooftop photovoltaic panels. In addition, the company has taken care to work with local contractors whenever possible (75% of the companies involved in the project are located less than 100km away).

These spacious new premises also house the support services, enabling the Research Center, a real driver for innovation, to continue its development. This achievement will help to sustainably increase the recognized agility of the company, which places special importance on bringing together all its activities (R&D, production, support) on its single site.
