The position I currently hold was created to support the CSR dynamic and the growth of the company. I like being able to combine operational and cross-functional missions, in line with sustainable development and responsible purchasing.
If I applied for this position in 2022, it was above all to regain “meaning” in my work, in a human-sized company with strong values. I really appreciate being able to work on issues that are important to me and that are relevant to a sustainable business in the long term.
This scientific training allows me today to understand the different business lines, to better grasp the issues, the constraints, and to be able to move quickly towards effective and realistic solutions.
I remember that we were "taught to learn": through books, listening and exchange. The key is to continue to train and to challenge ourselves, to stay up to date and to respond to the stakes of a constantly changing world.

I particularly like the fact that this job is at the core of the company's challenges and those of tomorrow. These projects are strategic for a committed company like SILAB, thus giving a real meaning to my job. I also enjoy working transversally with many experts in the company and learning every day as the subjects and CSR projects are so varied.
My scientific training allows me to understand new subjects more easily and to exchange with experts. The understanding of projects and the critical sense that comes from my scientific training allow me to analyze and make proposals, but also to take into account the challenges and constraints of each one.

My job gives me an exciting and creative side by ensuring regular monitoring of research in plant sciences, but it also gives me a stimulating and pragmatic aspect by working with suppliers of natural raw materials. The exchanges on the different projects with the teams and suppliers are always enriching.
My master's degree provided me with a transversal scientific education, from the production of molecules of interest to the study of ecosystems and made me aware of the vast richness of the plant world and the necessary responsibility to preserve it. My training helps me in this sense by giving me the essential knowledge to search for new strategies to add value to plants that are more sustainable and responsible.
