Consistent with its founding value of independence and with a view towards reinforcing its commercial relations with its Japanese partners, SILAB has opened its sixth commercial platform: SILAB North East Asia KK.
To quote Jean-Philippe COSSON, General Manager Sales - International subsidiaries – CSR at SILAB: “The variety of crises we have all faced since 2020 has noticeably affected markets, in particular in Asia. Already strongly established in China since 2003 and in South Asia (in Singapore) since 2013, we decided to boost our activity in North Asia by creating SILAB North East Asia KK. Opening a commercial subsidiary in Japan was seen as obvious and necessary to take over from our local distributor. Based in Tokyo, the SILAB NEA KK team will be responsible for promoting and distributing our natural active ingredients in Japan, as well as maintaining customer relations with our long-standing distributor in South Korea. There is no doubt that this increased presence will enhance our value proposal based on Nature, Science and Technology and will consolidate our partnerships with local clients and universities.”
SILAB NEA KK team is managed by Jean-Baptiste GRIEU (Regional Sales Manager) and staff will increase in the very near future. A local inventory will be created in collaboration with a logistics company.
By consolidating its implantation in this region, SILAB maintains its strategy of international presence.
