For several years now, SILAB has been committed to promoting women in the scientific professions, in particular by highlighting women scientists on the occasion of this world day. The International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which was created by the UN in 2015, allows inspiring journeys to be shared.
Highlighting women in science allows little girls, students and women to identify with and know the range of possibilities available to them. Representation matters.
